Expressing gratitude has a multitude of mental and physical benefits. Studies show that feeling thankful can improve your sleep, mood and immunity and can decrease feelings of depression, anxiety, and even reduce your risk of disease.
The Great Attitude app is your hub for cultivating gratitude in your life. Journal in the morning and evening, or whenever you want, based on a massive range of suggested gratitude prompts, or you can just journal generally about what you feel grateful for in your life right now.
As your daily gratitude hub, Great Attitude offers a dedicated section in the app for you to recognise all the people in your life you feel grateful for. Enter the reasons or story behind the gratitude you feel and add an optional photo. If one day you’re feeling a dip in your mood, open the app and take a minute to scroll through the images of your special people, and remind yourself how grateful you are to have them in your life.
We know that places can hold special meaning in your life, so within the app you can record these special places, within a dedicated “Places” tab. Easily add photos and the map locations of your special places, as well as a journal entry capturing why you’re so grateful that you’ve been to this place. It’s a quick and easy way of reminiscing about wonderful vacations or focusing on the special places, like your home, in your life.
We want Great Attitude to be your every day gratitude journal, and as such we want you to feel at home using it. So, we offer you a choice of 10 colour themes to choose from in the “Settings” tab.
We’re here to help you feel better about your life, so we’ve added a Mood Tracker to make you aware of your feelings, because when we’re aware of something, we can take action to change it. Use the Mood Tracker to select how you feel every day. We plot your mood on a graph so you can see how your feelings change over time.
All of your previous journal entries are available to view in the Monthly “History” tab. From here you can scroll through all your past entries, view those entries, and even edit them should you choose to. In addition, you can search for key words to identify journal entries where you wrote about a certain topic or event.
Each journal entry you make in Great Attitude can also add to your “Streak”. We do not believe in competition, but we do encourage a daily journaling practice and that’s why we support monitoring your Streak to help maintain the habit of journaling. Add the Home Screen Widget to your phone to monitor your Streak and motivate you to journal every day.
Feel free to write whatever you want in your Great Attitude journal, because we’ve added secure access to the app so that only your face, fingerprint, or passcode will enable access to the app.
To support your gratitude journaling habit, you can set two separate notifications at specific times per day. This can hugely improve how well you stick to your journaling practice.
If you’re using iOS 17.2 or above, use Apple’s on-device intelligence and get personalised suggestions based on your recent activity including places you have visited, music or podcasts you’ve listened to and photos you’ve taken. These suggestions can be pulled in to the Great Attitude app and used as a personalised prompt to compose a journal entry.
We don’t believe in inflated prices or special prices – just fair prices for you, all year round. So, you can rest assured that what you pay is what everyone else also pays.
Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us, so all of your journal entries are stored on your device or in your iCloud account by Apple and we have absolutely no access to it.
